Thinker cell in the room-in-room principle as a self-sufficient room element

Room-in-room units from woodtec follow the external design of the building

Room-in-room systems from woodtec optimise the construction company's open-plan office space.

The construction company has opened its new headquarters for Upper Austria in Linz. Construction began in 2021 and the 5-storey building was designed by Viennese architects MHM architects. The building is characterised by organic, flowing contours. Office space was created for 230 employees, including a social room, terrace and underground car park.

woodtec was awarded the contract to supply the room-in-room units for the open-plan office space at the end of 2023. The units were to match the exterior design of the building. Simple rectangular solutions were out of the question for the customer. The basic shape of the room units was to be asymmetrical and all four corners were to be designed as rotundas.

As one of the few suppliers able to realise this design, woodtec ultimately prevailed. The decisive factors were the quality of the design, the ventilation and the good sound insulation. The major order was ultimately preceded by a sampling process. Today, the customer makes active use of the units and confirmed his high level of satisfaction with the vetroCUBE product.
