The think tank vetroCUBE is delivered ready to use
The room in room system vetroCUBE is delivered with ready to use 230 V electrification. All electrotechnical elements installed in the thinker cell are internally pre-wired. For 230 V electrification, all functions are combined in a control box on the ceiling element. Here we find the interface, a socket Wieland GST18i3FS2RV, for the mains connection. Our fitters connect here temporarily and test all functions. The formal commissioning must be carried out by a local electrician. For data electrification, the responsible electrician hands over the appropriate cables to us so that we can pull them to the prepared slots during installation in the solid walls of the room in room system.
Think tank in space in space Construction method with electrification
- ready-to-use electrification
- Feeding of connection cable from floor or ceiling possible
- internally pre-wired
- Control box with defined interface for the mains connection on the ceiling element
- Plug-in fields or interfaces for power and data on request (Schuko, RJ 45, USB, HDMI etc.)
- Intelligent control of light and ventilation via presence detector and touch screen
- Optional system base for cable routing
Connection to the building structure:
As self-sufficient as the room in room system may be, it has to be connected to the building structure in terms of electrical engineering and data technology. For the 230 V connection, the defined interface can be found on the ceiling element of the vetroCUBE. See also first paragraph. If the cables come from the ceiling, the small switch box, the control box, is directly accessible. If the cables come from the floor, they must first be led upwards through a solid wall element onto the ceiling element. For this purpose, appropriate cable lengths must be provided by the customer so that our fitters can pull them in directly. The same applies to data cables. We also install these if provided by the customer.

The room-in-room system can be adapted to your individual electrical requirements.
The standard electrical equipment of the thinker cell according to the room-in-room design consists of a ventilation unit, an LED linear luminaire, a presence detector, a radio button for switching and dimming the luminaire and a flush-mounted socket unit with three 230 V Schuko sockets and two RJ 45 patch-to-patch panels for data lines.

Intelligent control of room-in-room systems
Light and ventilation are controlled in the standardised room-in-room electrification via the presence detector recessed in the ceiling. When entering the room in room system, light and ventilation are switched on. The user can adjust light and ventilation via a TFT display (touch screen). The light can be dimmed according to requirements. The ventilation can be briefly set to "air shower" for approx. 30 seconds, thus doubling the volume flow. After this time has elapsed, the ventilation drops back to the preset value so that the fan cannot be heard. If the user leaves the vetroCUBE, the presence detector switches off the light promptly and allows the ventilation to continue for approx. 10 minutes. The fan then falls into a "freshness mode". Between 6 o'clock in the morning and 22:00 o'clock in the evening, it delivers a minimum volume flow of approx. 50 m³/h, so that the vetroCUBE is always "ventilated". All parameters can be individualised by Facility Management via a stored PIN.
